Here is a prime example of why I think the internet in general, and blogging in particular, are cool:
B Game? Q&A IV « 38 Pitches: “Worked my pitch count up to 80 and was told my last three FB were 93-94 so the arm strength is coming. Had very spotty command with it but I felt that all four of my off speed pitches got better. Threw more change ups and a higher % of good ones. The split was definately better in the bullpen, pretty much the best it’s been in 2 years, which was a great sign. Slider felt great and the curve ball was better than normal as well.”
That’s a quote from Curt Schilling’s blog, talking about his most recent spring outing. A little further down the page he responds to questions posted in his comment section.
Ahh, what I would have given for such access to the thoughts of Pete, Johnny, Tom, Davey, and the rest of the Machine back in my days with the American Legion Post 450 Milford Hoyas. Things might be very different today…

Hope all is well. Talked with Brad yesterday and he mentioned the ultrasound on Friday. What’d the Doc have to say? Any better guesstimate and when?
Also, a couple of Sunday’s ago I left a message. Guess you guys have been busy.
How’re your brackets progressing? Believe it or not–I picked VCU over Duke, but missed MI State beating the Blue Devils. Didn’t do too well yesterday–missed U of L. In fact I had them to the final eight. My final four are OSU, NC, OR, and KS with OR & NC in the finals and NC winning it all. Keep me posted on the latestest developments.
Brad also mentioned that he, Kit, and Mason were planning to go home from ATL and the final four via OH and that he was planning to see a BB fame at the Great American Ballpark. I’m green with envy. . .
Love you and give my love to Jenn in the final dash!!
