Right about now I’m regretting that I don’t watch the local news (or any news, for that matter). I have no chance of getting dismissed from any jury panel now, since I have no clue who any of these defendants are. Almost makes me regret choosing the Daily Show over local news… or not.
Some observations from Day 1:
- even old people have iPods
- teachers seem to like jury duty

YOU?? Actually ‘regret’ not watching the news?? “Gotcha”!! And as for that comment about “even old people have iPods”…. WATCH it, kiddo! You’re tredding on dangerous territory there!
And… of course teachers “like jury duty”… for the most part, they probably feel right at home… or at least they get a ‘break’ from their own daily grind. So…. how long are you ’stuck’ doing your ‘duty’?
