It’s good to have notions confirmed by hard data. A research group at IU has concluded that The Daily Show has as much content as the regular broadcast news. See, Mom? I told you so… Plus it’s a heck of a lot more entertaining.

Hummmm…. I suppose it depends on how one defines or measures the “substantive coverage” of news! Yet, as with all good things, a dose of humor can certainly add a different ’slant’ to anything! At least you’re watching ’some’ kind of news….
