I’ve been reading the blog of Douglas Groothuis for a few months, and it’s always top-notch. I would expect nothing less of a thinker like him, of course, and this brief post captures my thoughts exactly. It really is too bad that sloppy, inconsistent thinking is what passes for “evangelical” these days. I’ve been profoundly impacted by the writings of Francis Schaeffer, as was Groothuis. I’ve been meaning to read Groothuis’s book The Soul in Cyberspace and now I think I need to get on with it.
