Reflections: Breakfast

A few of Lindsay’s favorite breakfast foods:

Waffles (homemade or Ego - she’s not picky), pancakes, and french toast, with lots of butter and a puddle of syrup in which to dip them. Eggs, scrambled. With or without cheese, cream or American. Rice crispies, by which she means any cold cereal, especially if mommy is eating it. Toast [...]

Another word to be careful with…

…is ‘funk,’ as in, “We better wipe the funk off that pickle before we start eating it again.” You see, the pickle had fallen on the floor, where there’s lots of Gracie-hair and crumbs and such. I mistakenly referred to all of this detritus as ‘funk,’ which, when repeated by Lindsay in its original phrasing [...]
