We had a really nice time on Easter, visiting Franlin Park Conservatory to see the butterflies. Jenn went a few years ago and said there weren’t as many this time, but the exhibition just opened, so maybe they’re still propagating. There were enough, though, since Lindsay had a love/hate relationship with them anyway. Of course, there were some good photo ops, and we managed to capture a few.
We didn’t do an Easter egg hunt this year, but the Easter bunny brought plenty of sugary goodness to the party. The favorite was “choc-it candy,” in the form of mini M&Ms. For most of the week, it was the first request of the morning.
Jenn: Would you like oatmeal or an egg for breakfast, sweetie?
Lindsay: Choc-it candy?
Jenn: Or some toast? How about some buttery toast?
Lindsay: Choc-it candy?
Jenn: No, but you can have some Cheerios…
Lindsay: Choc-it ca…
You get the idea. I guess we should have seen this one coming.
