Every now and then, we’re amazed by a new concept Lindsay has picked up, seemingly all on her own. Take ON and OFF, for example. For the last week or so, she’s been running around the house with various clothing items, asking for ON or OFF. That’s cool. And she’ll grab ahold of a sock or shirt that one of us is wearing, requesting it to be OFF. Also cool. But then there are moments like yesterday morning, after Jenn turned the fan in our bedroom off. Lindsay walked over to it and said ON. Of course, we all know that ON and OFF can refer to a location or a state or condition, but to see her make the leap was a scary moment. “Did you teach her that?” “No.” “Oh boy.”
