bad dog

These days, it seems that every time we turn around Gracie is into something she shouldn’t be. Often, this is because Lindsay is handing it to her. But Gracie gets scolded, usually with the phrase, “bad dog.” Of course, this is now one of Lindsay’s favorite phrases. A few nights ago, I was giving Lindsay a bath and she kept trying to reach a shelf with shampoo on it. Eventually I sat her little butt down and explained that she couldn’t play with that stuff. The next thing I know, she stands up, looks me straight in the eye and says “BAD DAW,” her version of “bad dog.” My question is, who did she mean, me or her?
