Even though both of my girls were a little under the weather, we still had a good time at the zoo. One of the upsides to buying the zoo membership is that we don’t have to see everything in ONE trip. So we went on Father’s Day, and we’ve already been back (last Saturday). Lindsay was into the fish - her eyes really lit up when she saw them. By far, my favorite Lindsay moment at the zoo so far was over by the orangutans. She was in the backpack, and I was pointing out the crazy primate playing with his water bottle. And I thought she was looking at him… but as I moved to a better spot, she protested. Turns out, she was looking at the LEAVES of a tulip tree (Liriodendron tulipifera, if I remember correctly).
