Favorite food(s): Chinese noodles still top the list. Other favorites at the Chinese restaurant include asparagus in the delicate white sauce and egg rolls. Any kind of grated or shredded cheese is also tops, along with straight powdery Parmesan from the green can. As in, “Shake some of that in my haaaand, please.” Mmm, gritty pseudo-cheese.

Favorite fruit: Cantaloupe takes the first spot, followed closely by whatever mommy is having. The hiatus from mandarin oranges continues.

Favorite book: The Listening Walk – it’s a cute story about a kid bug who gets spooked by the noises outside, so the mommy bug takes him on a nighttime walk to show him the sources of all the noises. I think it’s also becoming a franchise, complete with videos and a tv show. yay.

Favorite shoes: Definitely the new pink ones. “Mommy bought these for me at Target. They were on sale for six dollars, daddy.” It’s almost like she’s been coached, don’t you think?
